About the Satellite Desk
This system utilizes real-time observations from the Copernicus Sentinel and Meteosat satellite constellations. By heavily leveraging orbital sensors, we provide continuous environmental intelligence across Libya, bypassing the limitations of ground-based stations.
The Now-cast Advantage
Standard forecasts rely on global models that predict what should happen. Our system synchronizes these models with real-time thermal observations from the Meteosat constellation. If the satellite detects ground temperatures higher than the model predicted, our system instantly recalibrates the forecast. This marriage of orbital observation and predictive modelling captures local heat pockets and sea breezes that standard forecasts often miss.
